Census 2011 of Ajmer District of Rajasthan

Ajmer District Population 2011
In 2011, Ajmer had population of 2,583,052 of which male and female were 1,324,085 and 1,258,967 respectively. In 2001 census, Ajmer had a population of 2,181,670 of which males were 1,129,920 and remaining 1,051,750 were females. Ajmer District population constituted 3.77 percent of total Maharashtra population. In 2001 census, this figure for Ajmer District was at 3.86 percent of Maharashtra population.

There was change of 18.40 percent in the population compared to population as per 2001. In the previous census of India 2001, Ajmer District recorded increase of 20.93 percent to its population compared to 1991. 



Ajmer District Density 2011
The initial provisional data released by census India 2011, shows that density of Ajmer district for 2011 is 305 people per sq. km. In 2001, Ajmer district density was at 257 people per sq. km. Ajmer district administers 8,481 square kilometers of areas. 



Ajmer Literacy Rate 2011
Average literacy rate of Ajmer in 2011 were 69.33 compared to 64.68 of 2001. If things are looked out at gender wise, male and female literacy were 82.44 and 55.68 respectively. For 2001 census, same figures stood at 79.39 and 48.90 in Ajmer District. Total literate in Ajmer District were 1,526,673 of which male and female were 926,268 and 600,405 respectively. In 2001, Ajmer District had 1,168,856 in its district.

Census 2011 of Udaipur District of Rajasthan

Udaipur District Population 2011
In 2011, Udaipur had population of 3,068,420 of which male and female were 1,566,801 and 1,501,619 respectively. In 2001 census, Udaipur had a population of 2,480,657 of which males were 1,259,170 and remaining 1,221,487 were females. Udaipur District population constituted 4.48 percent of total Maharashtra population. In 2001 census, this figure for Udaipur District was at 4.39 percent of Maharashtra population.

There was change of 23.69 percent in the population compared to population as per 2001. In the previous census of India 2001, Udaipur District recorded increase of 24.27 percent to its population compared to 1991.

Average literacy rate of Udaipur in 2011 were 61.82 compared to 59.77 of 2001. If things are looked out at gender wise, male and female literacy were 74.74 and 48.45 respectively. For 2001 census, same figures stood at 74.66 and 44.49 in Udaipur District. Total literate in Udaipur District were 1,582,629 of which male and female were 973,444 and 609,185 respectively. Census of 2011 of Alwar District of Rajasthan

Alwar District Population 2011
In 2011, Alwar had population of 3,674,179 of which male and female were 1,939,026 and 1,735,153 respectively. In 2001 census, Alwar had a population of 2,992,592 of which males were 1,586,752 and remaining 1,405,840 were females. Alwar District population constituted 5.36 percent of total Maharashtra population. In 2001 census, this figure for Alwar District was at 5.30 percent of Maharashtra population.

In 2011, Jodhpur had population of 3,687,165 of which male and female were 1,923,928 and 1,763,237 respectively. In 2001 census, Jodhpur had a population of 2,886,505 of which males were 1,513,890 and remaining 1,372,615 were females. Jodhpur District population constituted 5.38 percent of total Maharashtra population. In 2001 census, this figure for Jodhpur District was at 5.11 percent of Maharashtra population.
